This year was my first time at the international Green Week in Berlin. Culinary delights from around the world and it was curious to discover. My tour I had in the lobby of the official partner country 2011 "Green Week" - that was Poland - and I started preliminary work from there to the Saxony-Anhalt, Halle, with exhibitors to come into the conversation as well as with visitors. "Polska" tastes and that means diversity in taste. Because Poland is not the same as Poland, every region, presented a variety of dishes, from hearty salami delicate cheeses baked goods to the great diversity, there was everything your heart desires. So if someone goes to Poland once, then he should not only the varied landscape of the Baltic Sea coast, the Masurian to discover the Carpathians but just the culinary specialties. "Smacznego"
Before Saxony-Anhalt Hall, a short stop still in 'wife Antje from Holland' - they looked like from the advertising - and in our neighboring states of Thuringia and Brandenburg, it was time. I must admit I was pretty excited by what specialties Saxony-Anhalt and Magdeburg would be presented at the Green Week. Kati baked goods, wines from the Saale-Unstrut valley, Little Red Riding Hood sparkling wine, by the way, the market leader in Germany and a real export hit from Saxony-Anhalt, salt Wedler Cake - which is popular not only here but also by the Queen - Halberstadt sausages and much more there was to discover. But for me it was a special highlight, apart from the Abtshof from Magdeburg and its 'spiritual drops' of course, the Lemsdorfer lout of 1924, presented by the Magdeburg meat and meat products Delikata GmbH. And as a fan and critical companion to the "Otto City" campaign I was particularly pleased that Delikata has used the publicity effort to present their specialties. The Lemsdorfer lout belongs to me now not just any barbecue, but also has the makings of a real Magdeburg export to be. The beginning is made the presentation at the International Green Week! For me it was a great day at the Green week in Berlin and next year I will be there again.
